Mgr. Jana Vrzalová
School director
is a publicist and translator with more than forty years of experience. She graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Leningrad State University (now St. Petersburg). After graduating, she worked for leading Czech and Slovak dailies and magazines, and devoted herself to translation. She translated from two dozen publications from foreign languages into Czech.
Since 2014, she has been the chairwoman of the Club of Non-Fiction Authors. Among other things, she is a laureate of the Miroslav Ivanov Prize for Journalism, winner of the Czech Patriot Prize, which was awarded to her by the Association of Legionnaires' Tradition Holders for supporting national pride and memory of the nation in the category of journalism. The Lidice Memorial awarded her work with a Commemorative Medal.
PhDr. Marie Formáčková
Editor-in-chief, Teacher, Authoris a graduate of St. Petersburg and Charles University, she worked for twenty years in the magazine Vlasta, where she was the editor-in-chief since 1989, later she was the editor-in-chief of Květy magazine and TV Revue. She has been publishing and writing freelance books since 2000. She also worked as a high school teacher and holds an award for pedagogical activities in the Golden Amus survey. She is the author or co-author of dozens of books, especially the life stories of media celebrities. She is one of the most popular books she has written with actresses Helena Růžičková and Zita Kabátová. She also wrote a number of cookbooks and books on healthy living together with Doc. MUDr. Leoš Středa or Vítek Chaloupka. She is the author of a series of practical textbooks for disabled students.
Ing. Zdeněk Jarchovský
Language expertHe passed the Matura exam at the Tehran International School and also graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Electrical Engineering. He worked for twenty years at the Academy of Sciences, of which three years at Charles University, another seven years at VZP in the assistance service, and finally as an electronics designer. He taught English and Russian, which he speaks as well as his mother tongue, which is Czech for him.
